Problem to Solve
Stella Artois struggled to remain culturally relevant in the U.S., with perceptions rooted in outdated European cues and lacking saliency among modern American drinkers. Despite high-profile talent like David Beckham, the brand needed deeper storytelling to shift from fleeting attention to long-term affinity.
Solution/Rationale
Reframe Stella by introducing “David and Dave,” a humorous, heartfelt campaign pairing David Beckham with his fictional American twin (Matt Damon). Through their road trip across America, Stella anchored itself in personal, memorable “Moments Worth More,” blending cinematic storytelling with cultural integration—seamlessly extended into retail to bring the narrative from screen to shelf.
Featured/Awards
• Super Bowl LIX (2025) TV spot
• AB Creative Impact Awards

3—Retail Activation
Comprehensive suite of campaign assets rolled out across bars, liquor stores, and grocery—anchored by the Master Key Visual and extending the “David and Dave” world into real purchase environments.
Promotional offers and in-store signage reinforced top-of-mind awareness, driving conversion and elevating Stella’s presence at key points of sale.

1—Super Bowl Spot
Official 60-second spot aired nationally during the Super Bowl, supported by full storyboard development and creative planning.

2—Teaser Campaign
Generated nationwide intrigue ahead of the Matt Damon reveal, fueling speculation around the identity of Beckham’s “other David.” The hero teaser was amplified across high-impact placements, including billboards in Times Square.

A social-led teaser campaign that invited both the public and high-profile personalities to speculate on the identity of David Beckham’s mysterious American twin. Through a mix of cryptic content, influencer engagement, and playful misdirection, the campaign built intrigue and fueled conversation ahead of the full reveal.

Flagship teaser that anchored the campaign’s rollout, setting the stage for the mystery of Beckham’s long-lost twin.

Custom standees, table tents, LED signs, coasters, and buckets brought the campaign to life in bars and stores—creating a distinctive, cohesive Stella presence at every touchpoint.
